PDF Maker for vtiger CRM - Manual

PDF Maker offers you possibility to add unlimited number of templates for each module, which can be generated into PDF File.

After successful installation of our product new item (PDF Maker) is appended into top menu Tools. By click on the PDF Maker item you get to the list of predefined templates, which you can edit or duplicate and modify according to your requirements. On this page, you can create a new PDF template.

When creating a new pdf template you must enter the name of the template and you can add a description. Then you choose a module, you want to create a PDF template for. Our PDF Maker offers all standard and all custom vtiger CRM modules.

After selecting the module other selection items (fields of module) are updated. Again,  all standard and custom fields are available.

Below, you can select module which is related to the primary module you selected before. For instance module Invoice has these related modules: Accounts, Contacts and Sales Order. If you want to use some field from such related module you can find it under "Related modules".

Next, you can choose a field from all available fields for the related module. Thus, you can display Account's phone number despite it does not belong to invoice fields, for example. Our PDF Maker allows you to display all fields from related modules, thanks to the relation between Invoice and Accounts, for instance.

There is "Product bloc templates" item available for some modules that display product block. It contains predefined templates for proper display of products in the Invoices, Quotes, Sales Order and Purchase Order. You can simply add the whole product bloc template into your template and modify it according to your needs.
