PDF Maker for vtiger 7.0 is available!
Since vtiger 7.0 there is new license agreement of PDF Maker.Main change:
Since 31. May 2017, you will buy PDF Maker subscription with 1 Year support and updates (License is still not Time-limited. You can use your license as long as you want and need). Also if you buy PDF Maker subscription you will gain access for all version of PDF Maker: it means one license is valid for vtiger 5.x, vtiger 6.x as well as vtiger 7.x.
After 1 year you will have 3 options:
- you will renew your subscription with discounted price(see discounted prices for loyal customers)
- you will use your license of PDF Maker further but without updates and support
- you will use your license further, but some time later you decide that you need subscription. You will renew your subscription for full price.
Also to be correct to our customers, anyone who bought PDF Maker license for 5.x or 6.x one year ago also can download 7.x version of PDF Maker and use it.
But be careful: using license key twice is still valid:
„This license gives the holder right to install PDF Maker on ONE productive vtiger CRM installation and ONE develop vtiger CRM installation for unlimited users. „
PDF Maker changed license agreement 31. May 2017
Some scenarios to better understanding new license agreement:
Scenario 1: Customer without interest about vtiger 7.0
Customer bought license for PDF Maker before 31. May 2017 and don't want to use this PDF Maker license for vtiger 7 yet.
There is nothing changed in previous license agreement.
This customer has lifetime support and updates for his PDF Maker version as it was written in previous license agreement.
Scenario 2: more then 1 year old license
Customer bought license for PDF Maker more then 1 year ago (31. May 2016 or earlier).
This current customer has claim to change/upgrade his license to membership/subscription license with discounted price(see price book)
This customer has lifetime support and updates for his PDF Maker version as it was written in previous license agreement.
Scenario 3: less then 1 year old license
Customer bought license between 31. May 2016 and 30.May 2017 (PDF Maker for vtiger 5.x or vtiger 6.x).
After he logins into our e-shop he can see option to download PDF Maker for vtiger 7 as well and use license key for this PDF Maker version.
He will see this option one year after his purchase.
More then year after purchase he will lose option to download updates for PDF Maker 7 – but he can still use it without support and updates.
This current customer has claim to change/upgrade his license to membership/subscription license with discounted price(see price book).
Support and updates of PDF Maker that he bought (5.x or 6.x) are still available like before for lifetime as it was written in previous license agreement.
Scenario 4: New license
Customer bought PDF Maker license 31. May 2017 and later.
He bought PDF Maker subscription/membership. He has option to use this license key for any version of vtiger.
Also option to download any latest version of PDF Maker for vtiger version.
He has right to download updates and use support one year after purchase.
After year he won't have option to download the updates of PDF Maker. Also he won't have support available.
Now, this customer has 3 options:
- Scenario 4a:
Year after purchase, Customer renew his subscription with discounted price because his price is now from 2nd Year category.(see price book)
This customer has one year updates and support of PDF Maker again. - Scenario 4b:
Customer does not want updates and support. He can use his license key for lifetime but without support and the latest updates. - Scenario 4c:
Customer did not renew subscription with discounted price but he can use PDF Maker for lifetime.
Some time later he decides that he want to have subscription with latest updates and support.
He just renews his subscription and he has option to download and ask for support for 1 Year again for full price.

Why is membership/subscription good for me?Answer:
With membership/subscription you will have access to latest versions of PDF Maker for all vtiger version 5.x, 6.x, 7.x (in future 8.x, and higher). One license key works for all version of vtiger. If you decide to upgrade your vtiger you can use your license key without purchasing new key.
What happens if I don't renew my subscription?
Answer:
Your extension will continue working without problems, but you won't get support or updates.
